Betewat is an alarm app built around habit-building "missions" (physical or attention-based tasks required to dismiss an alarm), streaks, and a paid subscription that unlocks full access.
Betewat is unlocked via a manual bank transfer (CBE or Telebirr) rather than an in-app store purchase. After transferring the listed amount and submitting your name, phone number, and a screenshot of the transfer, a human reviews and approves your submission — this is usually quick but is not instant. Subscriptions are monthly or yearly as selected at checkout and do not auto-renew; you'll need to pay again once your plan expires to keep full access.
Because payment is verified manually, refund requests are handled case-by-case — contact support (below) if you believe you were charged in error.
A subscription (tied to your phone number) can be signed in on one device at a time. Signing in elsewhere requires signing out on the previous device first.
Don't use Betewat to submit fraudulent payment information, attempt to disrupt the service, or misuse the support channel.
Betewat is provided as-is. We aim for the alarm and mission system to be reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or available without interruption — as with any alarm app, don't rely on it as your only safeguard for anything safety-critical.
